FAQs
Did you really only play one year of football and get recruited to play D1?
I just really wanted to get involved and thought it would be a super fun and great experience for me. I had started working out February 2020, and was just adding a lot of muscle and pounds. At one of the practices that fall I was just watching and thought I could really help the team out a little bit. So I decided, why not. I guess you can say it went well!
Biggest tip to your transformation?
Mentorship undoubtedly plays a vital role in personal growth, yet its impact can only extend so far. Ultimately, success hinges on the individual's commitment to implementing the acquired knowledge. In my journey, the defining factor for my achievements was undeniably hard work. Despite the challenges and daily obstacles, I remained resolute, dedicating myself to rigorous gym sessions six days a week. Coupled with a diligent focus on nutrition, I recognized that the combination of exercise and proper dietary habits formed the core of my progress. While each person's fitness journey may vary in intensity, it is indisputable that the effort invested directly influences the results attained, making it a fundamental principle to embrace.
One thing you wish you would have known when you started?
How much It would change my life. When I first started it was so innocent and I did not think much would come from it. But of course in a short period of time I went from a computer nerd(I still am inside) to a D1 athlete. Not only did it take me somewhere, but it transformed my life to become centered around weightlifting. Once I saw my first vein I was hooked and I have not looked back since.
Why do you do it ?
It’s a great question and I get it all the time. But regardless of whether its in the weight room, on the football field, in the classroom, or wherever I may be-I just feel this drive to be best person that I can be, and I cannot settle for anything less than that. Losing my father in 2016 has been one of my biggest driving factors.
